Château LE KINNOR, classified as a "Historic Monument" since 1995, is located in the two Normandy towns of Fervaques and Cheffreville-Tonnencourt, in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, in the Calvados department, a few kilometers from Lisieux.

A vast ensemble of the 14th-16th centuries, the castle, a major work of the Norman architect François Gabriel, was elected "Jewel of construction at the end of the 16th century and was the site of a great history: witness to the negotiations between Marshal William IV of Hautemer and King Henri IV in the 16th century, it also housed, at the beginning of the 19th century, the loves of the great romantic writer, François-René de Chateaubriand, and the beautiful Delphine de Custine, and constituted the space of a true small literary cenacle The estate also has two remarkable trees: the oldest plane tree in the Orient in France, but also a bicentennial purple beech called "de Chateaubriand".

Since 1982, it is the property of Kinnor, Musical Association and Integration of Handicapped and Non-Handicapped, and Center of Culture - Holidays - Leisure for all. A large estate, it welcomes visitors, groups, courses, family events, transfers and offers accommodation capacity of 150 beds and a possibility of on-site catering. The castle also remains an eminent place for all tourist and cultural events in Normandy.
